Re:SPECT: a Space to Pause, Express, Connect & Thrive
A 6-week creative art therapy group for women recovering from family violence.
The Women’s Re:SPECT program utilises the visual arts, journaling and mindfulness for self-expression to explore themes relating to emotions, values and identity.
Move towards healing and recovery

- Create distance to step back and review past experiences
- Establish ways to stabilise and regulate emotions
- Reduce anxiety and depressive symptoms
- Alleviate feelings of disconnection
- Develop skills for creative reflection, problem-solving and self-care
