Helping Families build Safer, Stronger Futures

Doncare delivers Intensive Family Services to support families when children are at risk of entering out-of-home care or are returning from out-of-home care. We support families subject to Family Preservation or Family Reunification Orders, helping them create safe, stable and nurturing home environments. This program is an extension of Doncare’s broader Family Services Program and allows us to work more intensively with families.

Our team provides intensive, in-home support focused on:

• Promoting child safety and development

• Strengthening parenting capacity

• Improving family functioning

• Supporting long-term stability and permanency

This program is funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. We work in partnership with Child Protection to improve outcomes for children and families.
