The following organisations offer emergency relief and material aid in Manningham as an alternative to Doncare, though opening hours vary:

St Vincent De Paul Society Victoria Inc.
Food parcels, food vouchers, other assistance as required/available.
Phone: 1300 305 330 between 10 am – 3 pm Monday to Friday. You will be assessed over the phone then visited at home, usually in the evening.

Salvation Army – Doncaster
Limited assistance. Food parcels, food vouchers, limited assistance with Telstra phone bills, Telstra phone cards, winter or summer clothes vouchers to the Salvos store, other assistance as available.

Wesley Mission Victoria
Focus on homelessness.  Services include crisis family support, emergency relief, emergency accommodation, child and youth support advocacy and housing support.  Possible assistance once a month if you have secure housing.

On-site financial counselling, shower facilities, computer access, including email and internet.

Open 7 days including all public holidays. The Centre provides a crisis information and referral for emergency housing, and financial assistance available for items such as rent in advance, medications including methadone, Met tickets, information about the Office of Housing and housing issues, financial and drug detoxification assistance.
