Doncare Pets is part of our Emergency Relief program and is designed to assist individuals and families experiencing financial difficulties with their furry (or feather-y or scale-y) family members.  

What is Doncare Pets?

The Doncare Pets program provides limited assistance in the following situations:

• If you need to take your pet to the vet for a non-emergency procedure (other than a regular check-up) but are unable to afford the fee or part thereof, Doncare Pets can help subsidise the fee.
• If you need to leave a family violence situation but the alternative accommodation does not accept pets, Doncare Pets can help pay towards the cost of boarding fees.

How do I apply for Doncare Pets?

Applying for Doncare Pets is easy! Simply contact us for an Emergency Relief Intake appointment and we will complete an application form with you.
