There’s never been a better time to “bank local”

Did you know that the Templestowe Village Bendigo Bank and Doncaster East branches have supported Doncare for the past 11 years with grants exceeding an amazing $400K!? Not only is Bendigo Bank good with money. They are particularly interested in the good that money can do.

Mostly recently, in response to the loss of income from the temporary closure of Doncare’s op shops due to COVID-19, Bendigo Bank provided a grant of $20,000 to help us to continue to deliver the Emergency Relief and Counselling programs during these challenging times. The branches have also been huge supporters of our fundraising events, sponsoring the inaugural Empowered Women, Empowering Women charity luncheon in 2018 and An Evening with Ben Crowe in 2019.

Together with Bramleigh Estate, the Doncaster East and Templestowe Village Community Bank branches will sponsor Doncare’s Empowered Women, Empowering Women event featuring Jane Caro in June 2021.

Doncare staff and volunteers look forward to hearing from Paul Thompson and Lisa Jones from Bendigo Bank’s Doncaster East branch to learn more about the bank’s innovative products and services in August.
