Every item we can resell helps fund vital services for people experiencing hardship, family violence and social isolation.
How Furniture Donations Work
Donating furniture to Doncare is simple. Follow the steps below to help us assess and collect your items safely and efficiently.
Send Us Your Details
Text us on 0422 983 987 with: *Your name *Photos of the items *Approximate sizes Sending us photos of items with approximate dimensions makes it much easier for our team to decide if the furniture is suitable to sell in Doncare’s op shops.
We Review Your Items
Our team will assess your donation based on condition, safety and resale suitability. Please note: Final acceptance is at the discretion of our volunteer drivers at the time of collection.
Book a Collection
We will contact you to arrange a time for our friendly volunteer truck drivers to collect your furniture from your home.
Prefer to Drop Off?
Furniture donations can be delivered to our Macedon Square warehouse. We recommend calling 0422 983 987 before arrival so we can arrange to meet you.
