Help shape and grow Doncare’s new CARE Psychology Services
Doncare is seeking an organised, proactive and client-focused coordinator to play a key role in establishing our new CARE Psychology Services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our community. You will help build the systems and processes for the new service, drive the promotional activities and referral pathways needed to establish a strong client base, and help every client feel welcomed and supported.
About CARE Psychology Services
For 57 years, Doncare has supported our community through counselling, case management, family violence recovery, emergency relief and community programs. Through this work, we have seen how long waitlists, high gap fees and limited local services make psychological support difficult to access. You will coordinate enquiries, referrals, intake, appointments and waitlists while helping create efficient administrative systems and fostering a welcoming and responsive client experience.
Beyond day-to-day coordination, you will contribute to the promotion and growth of CARE Psychology Services by strengthening stakeholder relationships, supporting referral pathways and helping build a sustainable pipeline of clients.

About you
You will bring strong coordination and administrative capability, a genuine commitment to client service and the initiative to help establish new ways of working. You will be comfortable balancing detailed administrative tasks with relationship-building and service-development activities.
You will ideally have:
Experience in practice administration, client services, coordination or practice management, preferably in psychology, allied health, healthcare or community services.
Experience managing intake, referrals, appointments, waitlists and client records.
Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
Sound understanding of privacy, confidentiality and professional boundaries.

A relevant Certificate IV, diploma or higher qualification, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Position details; This ongoing part time role is 20 hours per week (five hours per day across four days) based at the Doncare Office in Doncaster. The role is classified as SCHADS Level 4 ($46.70 per hour).
Why join Doncare?
This is an opportunity to join a community-based not-for-profit organisation and help shape our new psychology service from the ground up. Your work will directly influence how clients access support, how referral partners engage with the service and how CARE Psychology Services grows.
