Elder abuse is a growing issue that often remains hidden, affecting the safety, wellbeing and dignity of older people in our community. To help raise awareness and encourage meaningful conversations, Doncare invites community members, carers, family members and professionals to attend our upcoming Elder Abuse Community Forum.

The Elder Abuse Community Forum provides an opportunity to:
- Learn how to recognise the signs of elder abuse
- Understand the impact abuse can have on older people and their families
- Explore ways to support and protect older members of our community
- Hear from experienced speakers and community advocates
- Connect with local services and support networks
By increasing awareness and promoting respectful conversations, we can all play a role in creating a safer and more inclusive community for older people.
