Martine has been with Doncare since 2016. Her portfolio includes strategic marketing and communications, website management, retail operations, administration of Doncare’s Client Management System and IT, volunteer engagement and capacity building, event management and fundraising. Martine also produces Doncare’s Annual Report. Before joining Doncare, Martine built a successful career in the music industry, working as a Promotions Manager across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania for leading labels including Polygram, Festival Mushroom Records and Universal Records. Those roles honed her expertise in communications, brand development and stakeholder engagement — skills she now channels into strengthening Doncare’s profile and impact. Martine was drawn to Doncare by a deep personal motivation: to give back to the organisation that had once supported her through challenging times. What began as an opportunity to apply her professional experience has become a purposeful journey, where her work is grounded in resilience, compassion, and a commitment to ensuring that others can access the safety, dignity and connection they need to rebuild their lives.
