Michelle Kleinert OAM, Vice Chair

Michelle is an accomplished trainer, facilitator, former Mayor, and public speaker with extensive experience across various industries. She holds qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a Diploma in Leadership and Management. Michelle is known for her confident, empathetic, and engaging approach. Michelle is highly regarded for her tailored, hands-on programs that deliver transformative outcomes for individuals and organisations both locally and internationally and holds a deep belief in the value of every individual, which underpins her ability to drive lasting change. A lifelong Manningham resident, Michelle has served the community as a Councillor for over a decade and has a strong connection to Doncare. She is a passionate mental health advocate, having raised over $200,000 for related causes. Michelle is an accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor and was named a Master Instructor in 2023 for her exceptional leadership and dedication. In recognition of her distinguished service to local government and the Melbourne community, Michelle was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).
